Who we are

Pontyclun Squadron

2077 (Pontyclun) Squadron is one of many Squadrons throughout the nation which form part of the Air Training Corps.  The ATC is an organisation which allows young people between the ages of 12 and 20 to participate, and enjoy a wide and varied selection of activities whilst offering a multitude of skills for whatever life will throw at you.

 

Our aims are to:

 

  • Promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force among young people

 

  • Provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life

 

  • Encourage the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship
